Enquiries and personal information
The contact page provides an email link.
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and related correspondence. We use this information to answer enquiries, investigate corrections and respond to suggestions. We do not add you to marketing lists simply because you contact us.
Lawful bases
Our legitimate interests are responding to enquiries and maintaining accurate visitor information. Where an enquiry concerns a service you ask us to provide, processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract may apply. Where necessary, information may be retained to comply with a legal obligation.
Storage, security and retention
Email correspondence is handled through the operator’s email service. This website has no contact-message database. Enquiries should contain only the information necessary for a reply.
We keep correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, or meet applicable legal obligations. A fixed mailbox retention period has not been confirmed. Hosting and email providers may keep their own operational records under their policies; their precise retention periods and international processing arrangements have not been verified for this notice.
The website uses HTTPS. No method of internet transmission is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information or payment details.
Cookies and browser storage
Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser under “bridge-language” until you clear your browser’s site data. The accommodation page loads an Expedia affiliate search widget from Expedia’s servers. Expedia may process technical request data and use its own cookies or storage; see Expedia’s privacy and cookie policies.
The visitor helper runs locally using prepared visitor information. Its recent conversation is held in session storage in your browser, limited to 40 messages, and can be cleared using the helper’s Clear control. It is not sent to an AI service or the operator. Session storage ends when you close the browser tab. Do not enter sensitive information in the helper.
Hosting and external services
This site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, which uses Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to serve and protect the website. We have not verified the provider’s log retention settings or international transfer arrangements.
External links open services with their own privacy and cookie policies. The Expedia widget loads on the accommodation page; searching takes you to Expedia. Accommodation payments and reservations are handled by the booking platform or provider, not this website.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Contact the operator using the email above.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled.
